Mr. José Canela de Oliveira, born on October 7, 1936, passed away today, 11/08/2011, after his car was violently struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Av. 85 and Ricardo Paranhos.
Witnesses claim that the driver switched places with the passenger, stating that "the insurance is in my name, and I was driving."
He was killed, that is a fact; may justice be served.
Lucas Vieira Guimarães claims to have been the one driving the car, but witnesses state that another young man had exited the vehicle, and that Lucas appeared shortly after claiming to be the driver. A common practice to deceive insurance companies.
