I apologize for stating that Reclame Aqui would be censoring complaints about "buy from China" websites. While it is censorship, it is being carried out by the judiciary.
Each case is unique, and each complaint posted on Reclame Aqui has its own character. It is not convenient to hide them all, as if a company were above good and evil, and could not be spoken about. Even though I am a customer and have purchased products from these importers (there are many), I see that many people are deceived due to their lack of knowledge about this market and the applied tax rates.
The first glaring issue is that the "terms and conditions" on these sites are enormous. Three pieces of information should be highlighted: 1. the possible 60% taxation, 2. the impossibility of refusing to pay this tax, nor canceling the purchase for this reason, 3. the possibility of the product being held up for months at customs.
The Consumer Defense Code aims to protect individuals who lack tax and market knowledge and who may suffer due to malicious advertising and deception.
i. Under the Consumer Defense Code, price clarity must always exist, and the Import Tax rate for electronics and software is 60% (Decree No. 6.759/2009).
ii. The reasons for products being taxed or not are solely due to the precariousness with which customs authorities work. The non-payment of taxes is [edited by Reclame Aqui], tax evasion, LAW NO. 4.729/65, and advertising about this as a purchasing incentive is not allowed.
Reclame Aqui remains a channel of great prestige. Let's collaborate to keep this medium open to us consumers.

* For those who like to play games, it's a good option, even an addiction. You can buy a product for R$ 129.90 in 12 interest-free installments, and upon passing through customs, it may cost R$ 207.84. The difference must be paid immediately in cash at the post office; otherwise, you are only left with a loss.
* There is no warranty, as any type of repair is still precarious. Some companies exchange the product in the first few days, usually 30 to 90 days. After that, if there's a problem, it's too bad.
* While the devices are under full development, the batteries are terrible. They last very little and are not covered by the warranty.
* They are made of poor raw materials. The plastic loses its color on contact with fabric and dries out. The display, when it has a touchscreen, often suffers from the mirror effect, which is when pressing one side of the screen activates another. They get damaged and scratched very easily.
