I would like to share my personal experience regarding the reasons why I will no longer purchase Positivo notebooks or computers. The critical issue is the lack of technical support and assistance for post-warranty maintenance.
If the equipment presents problems within the first 12 months, the warranty is honored – either through repair or mandatory replacement. However, after this period, the consumer is left to their own devices. My most recent purchase was a Compaq Presario 5110 Notebook (Qualcomm® Snapdragon® 7c) which, in practice, does not support essential Windows updates. The system is limited to minor security updates; more robust versions, such as 24H2 and 25H2, cause constant freezing.
The reason? The manufacturer ignores customers who have owned the equipment for "a year and a day." Positivo hardware might be cheap, but the investment is only worthwhile if you accept that the device's lifespan is only 12 months. It's frustrating: the notebook hasn't physically broken down, it simply lacks drivers adjusted for new operating system patches. While Positivo focuses its efforts on pushing new models to the market, it completely forgets its current customer base.
The result is inevitable: my next purchase will be from any other brand, except Positivo.
