And I don't know if it was the birth control pills, the cold war, or jeans, but something happened in the second half of the century. Our little ones seem to have taken the old saying, "if you can't beat them, join them," to heart; and the consequences have been the emergence of increasingly masculine women. Forgive me those who think otherwise, but there's no more effective contraceptive method than a woman in pants, a t-shirt, saying: "damn it, man".
While men desperately try to maintain their sovereignty in the select universe of the powerful, occupying the most influential positions in the job market and governments, women seem to be working in the shadows, while we sleep, holding secret meetings where great strategists elaborate the most efficient plans for world conquest.
And here, giving my last breaths in this battle of underwear, I will defend what truly moves men... Oh my God! What is happening to them! They come and go. They put their hands where they want, they use and abuse, and about an hour later, before we can even understand what's happening, they're gone. They leave a note next to the lamp, and we're left desperately waiting for at least a pleasant comment, a word of encouragement.
The glorious history of male power and oppression remains as a consolation, memories that alleviate moments of despair while we wait for them to keep their promises and call the next day.
