The disappearance of 16-year-old teenager Erick Rian Duarte Santos has mobilized his family and the police in São José dos Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. Erick disappeared on February 21st after going for a walk in the Cidade Jardim neighborhood, without taking his cell phone. His family and authorities are searching for information that leads to his whereabouts.
Disappearance Details:
Erick Rian Duarte Santos, 16 years old, disappeared on February 21st.
He was last seen walking in the Cidade Jardim neighborhood, in São José dos Pinhais.
He did not take his cell phone and did not return home.
The family is desperate and is asking for help to find him.
Security cameras recorded Erick walking in the area, but after that, he disappeared.
The young man had recently moved to Cidade Jardim but was already living in São José dos Pinhais, and had not yet enrolled in a new school.
His mother even looked for him at his old school, but without success.
According to a report from RIC.com.br, the young man left home without taking any belongings; he deleted information from his cell phone, including games.
In a report from BandaB.com.br, the delegate received information that the teenager might have jumped into the river, but after searches, nothing was found:
“The information was that he would have jumped into the canal near Parque São José. Our team viewed the images, and he was indeed in that location. We came here with the Fire Department to check this hypothesis, and we found nothing,” said the delegate, who asked for the public's help.
