Silvio de Souza Lôbo Júnior, also known as Silvio Lôbo (born March 7, 1982, in Goiás), is a lawyer, professor, and writer. He holds a degree in Law from the Catholic University of Goiás, as well as diplomas in Literature and Pedagogy, and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure Law and Family and Succession Law. He frequently works in the areas of Family Law and Contract Law. He is a member of the Family and Succession Law Commission (CDFS) of the OAB-GO.
In his youth, he used a typewriter given to him by his parents—the muralist painter Silvio de Souza Lôbo and the seamstress Ana Divanir Lôbo—to create his first work, titled "Cachorro" (Dog), which was never published. He wrote the book in just one week at the age of twenty-one. In the throes of an unrequited love, Alex finished, printed, and made a copy of the book, then read it and was shocked by the number of poorly written sentences. He gave the book to the girl he liked and then put the matter aside.
As he approached his fortieth birthday, he decided to make his work public so that anyone who wished to read it could. Thus, on September 15, 2015, after two hearings regarding his conduct as a lawyer, he decided to publish the book in e-book format through Amazon, with the physical version initially available on Amazon's international website.
Those who read Alex's work will enter a completely different world. It was an era without cell phones, where romantic encounters happened in squares, at barbecues, and people maintained close contact and conversations with each other. Walks holding hands were commonplace, and movies were the main form of entertainment. But most importantly, those who read Alex's work will learn about the author's life journey. A poor person, born on uneven land by the stream, who attended ordinary public schools, he fought the intense anxiety that tormented him through reading and studying.
