Silvio de Souza Lôbo Júnior, also known as Silvio Lôbo, born on March 7, 1982, in Goiás, is a lawyer, professor, and writer. He holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Goiás, as well as diplomas in Literature and Pedagogy, and is currently pursuing postgraduate studies in Civil Procedure and Family and Succession Law. He frequently works in the areas of family law and contract law. He is a member of the Family and Succession Law Commission (CDFS) of the OAB Goiás.
During his adolescence, he created his first work using a typewriter gifted by his parents – the muralist Silvio de Souza Lôbo and seamstress Ana Divanir Lôbo – but this work, titled 'Cachorro' (Dog), was never published. At the age of twenty-one, he completed the book in just one week. In the throes of an unrequited love, after writing, printing, and making a copy, Alex read it and was shocked by the large number of erroneous sentences. He gave the book to the girl he admired and then put the matter aside.
As his fortieth birthday approached, he decided to make his work public so that anyone who wished to know could read it. Thus, on September 15, 2015, after two hearings regarding his professional conduct as a lawyer, he decided to publish the book digitally through Amazon, with the paperback version also initially available on Amazon's international website.
Those who read Alex's work will enter a completely different world. It was an era without cell phones, where romantic encounters happened in squares, at barbecues, and people maintained close contact and conversation with each other. Hand-in-hand walks were common, and cinema was the main form of entertainment. But most importantly, those who read Alex's work will learn about the author's life experiences. A poor man, born on uneven land by a stream, who attended ordinary public schools, he fought against the intense anxiety that plagued him through reading and study.
