Dear Professor Divino Eterno, and other colleagues mentioned, Greetings!
Yesterday, upon arriving in Goiânia, as I told you, I received a call from student Adriana Virgínia Miranda (PM3-2009/02), informing me of the tragic death of student GEUSIVÂNIA DOS REIS SILVA COLELHO (also from the aforementioned class). There is no precise information about the event, but the information received was that she was going to spend Christmas with her family in Minas Gerais* (MINASUL, see correction note) and on the trip, the car she was in with her husband and son reportedly fell into a hole because a bridge on that road had collapsed and the driver didn't notice in time. Unfortunately, everyone died: the student, her husband, and her son. It is with regret that we inform you of this tragedy and request its registration on the Faculty's website, if possible, as an obituary. I inform that the student who passed away was heading to the city of Minasul, in the interior of Goiás, and not to the State of Minas Gerais as previously informed. And sadly, there were more fatalities classified as follows: the student Geusivânia (PM3), her husband, her two children, and her mother.
There is information about the accident in the newspaper "DAQUI" of this date (12/23/2009), and the burial already took place at 1 PM today at the Memorial Cemetery. Approximately 17 colleagues from her classroom were present at this sad and final tribute. The Vice Governor, Mr. Ademir Meneses, and other politicians were also present. What a sorrow for us all! |

*Correction regarding the death of UNIFAN student
I inform that the student who passed away was heading to the city of Minasul, in the interior of Goiás, and not to the State of Minas Gerais as previously informed. And sadly, there were more fatalities classified as follows: the student Geusivânia (PM3), her husband, her two children, and her mother.
