News from the Metrópole and G1 newspapers reports that upon arriving at the condominium to rescue the young Livia Gabriele da Silva Matos, the paramedics had to go through a lengthy registration process at the front desk, where they had to present their personal documents and enter such data into the front desk's computer.
According to the building manager, this is the protocol for unexpected visitors.
Thank God we know when we will have a heart attack, so we can notify the front desk in advance.
Did no one think to intercom the apartment? Or did they intercom and not deem it urgent?
And did no one from the building accompany the paramedics to the apartment? If they were so afraid of being robbers using an SAMU ambulance, why didn't any employee accompany the team? If it wouldn't help with a faster rescue, at least it would prevent a robbery, right?
Without instructions and unaware of the building, the paramedics went to the apartment, and seeing the severity of the case, they used the bedsheets and rushed the young woman to the hospital.
Unfortunately, the young woman fell from the improvised stretcher, and if there is no one to assist in the rescue, at least there are those who celebrate, those who watch, and those who like to point out the team's supposed lack of preparedness.
Let's wait for the Public Ministry and the police to investigate this fact, and for actions to be taken so that this horror show does not happen again.
