This tutorial aims to help you remove viruses from your MSN.
01. Signs of virus contamination:
a. Your friends complain about receiving files from your computer.
b. Your friends complain about receiving messages like "see my photos", "visit my blog".
02. Solution
Note: For this tutorial, I analyzed two common versions, "BackDoor.Generic8.AIV" and "Trojan horse Sheur.OSZ". Both are very popular in Brazil and are among the 90% of MSN accounts contaminated with these pests.
If you wish to choose an antivirus capable of cleaning and protecting your computer, see the list of analysis results to choose the best ones.
Popular antivirus programs like Avast, McAfee, and Norton are incapable of identifying (as of yet) both pests.
AVG, Kaspersky, Microsoft, and Panda are effective, (with AVG being the only one capable of eliminating this pest and being free)
03. Installing the Antivirus
AVG is the only free option that achieved SUCCESS in both analyses, and for this reason, we will install it.
II. How to get AVG Antivirus for free.

On the page, click Download. The program is 27.2 MB and will only take a few minutes, depending on your connection speed.
II. Now, check your current antivirus. For better performance, you should remove it. To do this, click:
“Start” à “Settings” à “Control Panel” à “Add or Remove Programs” à Click on the list for “Remove” next to your current antivirus. Answer all questions affirmatively.

III. When the download is complete, which is the procedure to download the installation file to your computer, locate it on your machine (where you saved it) and double-click it. Follow all the steps, always clicking positively.
(Restart the computer whenever prompted)
IV. When prompted, update your antivirus. In the "Updates" option, open your new antivirus and test all options.
