Alice, at fourteen years old, had poems published in a newspaper and recognized by her teachers.
Published works include: Fio do Labirinto (1996) — poetry, A Chave de Vidro (2001) — short stories, Na Essência da Palavra Inteligente — tribute to Ascendino Leite, O Loire — Poema Fluvial da França (2006) — received the Henri Bernier Medal, awarded by the Brazilian Union of Writers.
Among various awards and recognitions, we have the National Prize Jorge Fernandes (Rio de Janeiro) and the Prize Auta de Souza (Macaíba, RN), Henri Bernier Medal for O Loire — Poema Fluvial da França, Poets 21st Century. She was honored, in Paris (June 2010), with the medal from the Société Académique d’Arts, Sciences et Lettres, for "services rendered to Culture."
