Pulmonary lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare disease of unknown etiology that primarily affects young women of childbearing age. Clinically, it manifests as progressive dyspnea, recurrent pneumothorax, dry cough, and less frequently, chylothorax and hemoptysis.
