Chaos has erupted in the Northeast at the end of this year. A telephone exchange belonging to the operator Oi caught fire. According to very limited reports on G1, little is known. It has not been determined whether the incident was criminal or accidental, or if it was due to negligence or force majeure. In the words of Oi's President, it is considered a fortuitous event.
The news indicates that people are without credit cards, and residents of Bahia are unable to use lottery outlets and cannot play the Mega Sena da Virada.
To try and alleviate the situation, information suggests that Oi is distributing Tim cell phones and modems to its customers.
