José Eugênio "Jô" Soares was born in Rio de Janeiro on January 16, 1938, and passed away in São Paulo on August 5, 2022.
An incredible comedian, television presenter, writer, playwright, theater director, actor, musician, and Brazilian visual artist. He gained notoriety for hosting talk-show formatted television programs in Brazil, such as Jô Soares Onze e Meia from 1988 to 1999 on SBT and Programa do Jô from 2000 to 2016 on Globo.
