This report was 'copied' from G1, and is a health update about a personality I admire.
A medical bulletin released this Thursday (10th) informs that Chico Anysio's clinical condition is stable and the process of removing the equipment that helps him breathe continues. The comedian has been hospitalized at Hospital Samaritano, in Rio de Janeiro, since December 2nd, when he underwent angioplasty to unblock his coronary artery.
According to doctor Luiz Alfredo Lamy, the 79-year-old humorist has had intensified sessions with the speech therapist. The therapy aims to rehabilitate the patient's glottis and recover his speech.
Since undergoing angioplasty, Chico has experienced shortness of breath, and was diagnosed with cardiac tamponade, which occurs when blood accumulates between the membranes surrounding the heart (pericardium). The comedian also suffered from pneumonia during his hospitalization. There is still no previsão of discharge. (G1)
