Sílvio de Souza Lôbo Júnior, or simply Sílvio Lôbo (Goiânia, March 7, 1982), is a lawyer, professor, and writer. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Goiás, is also a graduate in Letters, has a postgraduate degree in Higher Education Teaching, and is currently pursuing two postgraduate degrees: Civil Procedural Law and Family and Succession Law. He regularly practices law in family and contractual areas. He is currently part of the Family and Succession Law Commission (CDFS) of the OAB Goiás.
His first work was written in his adolescence on a typewriter gifted by his parents, Mr. Sílvio de Souza Lôbo, a house painter, and Ana Divanir Lôbo, a seamstress. However, this work, titled "Cães" (Dogs), was not published. At twenty-one years old, during a crisis of unrequited love, he wrote "Alex" in a week. After writing it, he printed and bound a single copy, read it, was shocked by the striking number of errors, then gifted it to the girl he liked and forgot about it.
On the eve of turning 40, he decided to share his publications with those who wished to know them. Thus, on September 15, 2015, after two court hearings in his professional capacity as a lawyer, he decided to publish through Amazon in digital format with a printed edition that could initially be purchased through the international website.
Those who read "Alex" will encounter a different world. A time when there were no cell phones, when courtships happened in the town square, at a bar table near sizzling skewers, and all the time was dedicated to contact and dialogue. Hand-in-hand strolls were common, and the cinema was a real pastime. But above all, those who read "Alex" will experience the author's maturation. A poor person, born on irregular land near a stream, who studied in unremarkable public schools and sought reading and study as a way to cope with intense anxiety that made him ill.
