Did you know that the statement "God is one" is a dogma? I always hear about dogmas, many people are afraid of this word, without even knowing what it is. See the 43 Christian dogmas:
1- The Existence of God
"The idea of God is not innate in us, but we have the capacity to know Him easily, and in a way spontaneously through His work."
2- The Existence of God as an Object of Faith
"The existence of God is not only an object of natural reason's knowledge, but also an object of supernatural faith."

The object of infallibility is the truths of faith and morals, revealed or in intimate connection with divine revelation. The condition for infallibility is that the Pope speaks ex cathedra: - That he speaks as the shepherd and teacher of all the faithful, using his supreme authority. - That he intends to define a doctrine of faith or morals to be believed by all the faithful. Pontifical encyclicals are not ex cathedra definitions. The reason for infallibility is the supernatural assistance of the Holy Spirit, who preserves the supreme teacher of the Church from all error. The consequence of infallibility is that ex cathedra definitions by Popes are irreformable in themselves, without further intervention from any authority."
27- The Church is infallible when it makes a definition in matters of faith and morals
