IV
Silvio and Anna maintained their routine.
Anna worked in the afternoon at the mall while Silvio wrote a new book. They met every day at college, and at this pace, they grew closer again. And even though the shared secrets strengthened the couple's complicity, certainly the young couple were never the same again. Anna met a rebellious and party-loving guy who drew her into a world of irresponsibility that, losses aside, served to take her away from the tensions of those days for a few moments. Silvio, analyzing his own life, saw how much that love made him suffer and decided not to wait anymore.
However, the mysteries of time exist, and Anna, finding herself scorned by other guys, understood how comforting Silvio's love would be to her. It was too late; Silvio, even as a faithful and helpful friend, would not dare to prolong that story.
And just as on the morning they first saw each other with a wave of the hand, they saw each other for the last time while waving goodbye at the bus station. Anna moved to a distant state, but that is another story...
For now, I dedicate myself to telling about Alex, how he continued alone in his shack, in his writings. He went four months without any contact with Maria, and little with Léo.
