The 13th Salary does not exist, and I can prove it.

The 13th Salary, also known as the Christmas bonus or allowance, is known for being a gift from capitalism to poor countries, places where wages are paid monthly. It is worth remembering that in wealthy countries, the work period is counted by the week, so let's calculate.

As an example, we chose a worker who receives R$ 700.00 per month; in one year, they will have received (12 x R$ 700.00 = R$ 8,400.00). However, the merciful capitalist pays them one more salary in the amount of R$ 700.00, so in one year they will have received R$ 9,100.00.
12 monthly salaries + 13th Salary equals R$ 9,100.00
But if the monthly salary is R$ 700.00 and a month has 4 weeks, then (R$ 700.00 / 4 = R$ 175.00). We know then that a worker who receives R$ 700.00 per month receives R$ 175.00 per week.

A year has 52 weeks; if we calculate 52 x R$ 175.00 = 9,100.00.

Well! So a worker who is paid weekly will receive the same R$ 9,100.00 (without a 13th Salary).

That's right, you have been misled. The State's gift to you was, in fact, always yours.
