Voters in Pará decided, in a plebiscite held this Sunday (11), to keep the state of Pará with its original territory, according to information provided at 8:08 PM by the president of the Regional Electoral Court, Ricardo Nunes. The confirmation of the result was given with 78% of the ballots counted, two hours after the end of voting. [G1]
A new state would create many public service positions, and many people would migrate there, since the current trend is to feed off the administrative machine. Therefore, it was an intelligent decision. There are other ways to bring development to the entire state.
