To restore an Asha 501, just type (as if you were making a call) the code *#7370#
This is useful when you want to undo incorrect settings, or even in those cases where the internal memory fills up or gets corrupted.
If your problem is "lost password", unfortunately it won't work; you'll need a program called Nokia flashing and a simple USB cable, like the one used in most smartphones.
