Updates on the case. (Source: Minas Gerais photographer who disappeared in Paris was caught by city camera | CNN Brasil).
Through city cameras, it was possible to see that Flávio himself placed the cell phone in the plant pot. Then he went to the River Seine, and stayed there for some time. According to family information, the camera filming him rotated, and when it returned to its previous position, he was no longer there.
According to the information (video), no images of Flávio were found in the vicinity after he left the camera's field of vision.
It cannot be denied that he may have fallen into the River Seine a second time. Something sadly imaginable.
Thus, let us avoid speculation and offer our prayers and positive thoughts.

Remember the case.
Brazilian photographer Flávio de Castro Sousa, 36 years old, is a resident of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais state, and has been missing since November 26, 2024. Flávio was in Paris, France, practicing his profession, and was supposed to return to Brazil, which apparently did not happen.
12/16/2024 - 20 days since disappearance - I don't have time to write, but I want to open this topic, as the circumstances of the disappearance are so peculiar that I wish to write about it.
12/17/2024 - 21 days since disappearance.
What we know:
The photographer was in Paris for work. He was last seen in a rented apartment (short-term rental).
According to a G1 report.
A resident of Belo Horizonte, Flávio de Castro Sousa arrived in the French capital at the beginning of last month and had a return ticket to Brazil for November 26, the same date he disappeared. He was last seen in a short-term rental apartment on Rue des Reculettes, in Paris, France.
Although the check-in for the return flight was made with the airline, he did not board. A close friend of Flávio received a message from a French acquaintance saying that the Minas Gerais native had an accident and received treatment at Hôpital Européen Georges-Pompidou before disappearing.
"I fell on an island in the River Seine and stayed there for three hours, maybe more. I started yelling until a gentleman heard me and called the firefighters," Flávio said in one of the messages.
After being released, still according to the man, he went to the short-term rental apartment to try to extend his stay and then gave no more news. The Brazilian's belongings, including his passport, were removed from the property by the Frenchman.
Flávio's mother then began to call his cell phone insistently, and in the early morning of the 28th, an employee of a restaurant answered. He did not speak Portuguese and passed the call to a Brazilian colleague, who explained that the device was found in a plant pot early on the morning of the 27th, at the establishment's door.
The Brazilian embassy was contacted by the family, requesting that the French authorities investigate the case.
